Last week I was reading one of my friends blogs, and I began forming a thought... ( I hope my friend won't mind me writing on mostly his topic that he wrote on.) And this is my thought.
As all living things begin to prepare for another winter, we begin to see things change. The dogs and cats growing their coat into a blanket of thick hair, the plants preparing hibernate, some plants will die, some plants will live (although they really look dead, and the beautiful fall colors coming on the trees!
As I walked around our yard, listening to the sweet little birds sweetly singing, the humming birds busily buzzing around their "flower", the always present enormous amounts grasshoppers hopping around my feet, I stopped and knelt down to take a picture of beautiful little flower. Suddenly I heard foot steps in the "dewy" grass. It was my dog. She sat down beside me and seemed to be catching a glimse at the scene. She's nice and warm, getting ready for winter. I'm not ready yet for winter though! There's so many lessons in nature. I'm not ready for the grass to be shriveled up into a crusty dust, I'm not ready for the flowers to dry up and go into nothing. But its all a part of sin. We were the ones that caused those flowers to wither... But all despite that, the flowers seem to sing, "Glory to God!" All these scenes in nature, are all from our Almighty God... The flowers are ready to drop their seeds before they whither, so more will come next spring.
As I thought about this, I said to my self; I wish the flowers wouldn't dry up. Everything will be so ugly, there'll be nothing, nothing at all that will be pretty...
But wait...
Don't let the frost spoil the beauty. Look at the lovely things! Snow, clouds, animals... And then Spring!
Don't let the frost, spoil your heart!
