Christ's Birth

Born as a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger, this was the child, the Son of God, that so many people were waiting for. Sadly, the Sadducee's and Pharisee's were expecting the Savior to come as a king to rule over the people, they did not even stop to think that Christ would come as a helpless little child and be born to a mother like Mary. 

This baby was not just any ordinary child, this was the Savior. Little did Mary and Joseph comprehend what their child would go through, to die for the whole worlds sins, they did not know what his destiny was. This child would teach the Priests and Rabbis that had been educated, but Jesus didn't have the education that the Priests and Rabbis had. This little child would grow into a man, the Son of God. As they headed for the stable that Mary would have her child in, I'm sure they were exhausted from walking and riding so many miles.

Just think about that once. Jesus, loved us so much that he came to earth as a little helpless child. He could have stayed in heaven and not have gone through so much suffering, but he saw us. We were the reason why he came from heaven to earth to live as a human being, it was for us that he suffered.

Oh, if would only remember that Christ died for us...

As Christ's coming is nearing every day, let us all remember that Jesus suffered just for us.
