Moving on into the South Dakota and down to Wyoming, to the most beautiful national park I've ever been to. With the beautiful green mountains and the buffalo grazing upon it's green lush grass... Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
Can you guess where? Yellowstone National Park.
Can you guess where? Yellowstone National Park.
Through the hills and mountains of beautiful scenery, stopping multiple times for our photographers to take pictures of the snow top covered mountains, bears, buffalo, prairie dogs, ground squirrels, grouse, marmots, moose, elk, deer, wolves, and yes even more coyotes. Even just driving on the road we saw lots of wildlife. Many times wildlife caused major traffic jams, having to stop to wait for a baby buffalo to finish drinking milk in the middle of the road, or looking at bears in the woods.
"What kind of buffalo did we see? Big, medium, small and tiny." (Ask me sometime about the buffalo that was looking in my tent).
Up onto mountain tops, up the stairs and up the trails we climbed, just to get a glimpse of God's wonderful, prodigious creation.
Just as I climbed to the top on Inspiration Point it struck me. Just a few days before I had gained a year to my life, it seemed that it was just yesterday my brother and I were just tots. But now, I'll be the only child in the home. I must enjoy my big brother while he's home. For years I've struggled with this very thing; and now, I was ready to take the turn. Perhaps this is why they call it "Inspiration Point"; so you can truly be inspired. Not just to be inspired to do something, but to look at our characters. To change our characters to reflect God's character.
