We finally got our bags packed and in the truck, and we were ready to go.
This was no ordinary trip, this was a College tour trip and a site seeing trip.
We went to Hillsdale College first. Then Grove City College. And last Patriarch Henry College.
Then off to the Capital to meet our Senator (Roy Blunt.) We were able to take some pictures with him and also give him a gift (a book.) This book was called, "The Great Conterversy." He told us he will read it and the best thing that we could do for him is "To pray for me." I would ask you my friends to pray for the people leading this Great Nation.
As we made our way to the Smithsonian and White House we made several "rest" stops at some of the benches that were empty. When we stopped and sat down we put a little piece of "paper" by us and got up and kept walking. Can you guess what this little paper was? Yup, it was literature! People begain picking the little piece of "paper" up and reading it. When we went by later, we stocked some more literature up in the benches. As I went about walking the streets of DC and putting literature in different places I was having some doubts in my thoughts, Will people really take this? They might just throw it in the trash. But then my dear family encouraged me, that if they did throw it in the trash they would be throwing away their chance to come to Jesus. Jesus will lead the people to the literature.
