Church Of Christ Pastor

"You're well schooled."  You're well schooled? What did he mean?

Sabbath: We drove to church in the morning and then to the church in the evening. After we went to the two churches, we went to the park close by to hand out literature with a friend (Miss Lois.) Miss Lois told me to go hand some literature to some people under a pavilion. My heart was beating as thoughts of what might happen raced through my mind. I've never done this. Do I have to do this? Just go and get it done.

I went to a pavilion and started handing out literature. I started out with saying, "I have something for you, and I think you would really like it."
All went well until I came to a man that took one glance at the tract I was giving him (called Ancient Prophecy Reveled, Signs of the times) and said "I'm a pastor of the Church Of Christ. I already know all about that." "Sir I think you need this to perhaps refresh your memory?" Ah, I see. Are you one of those Jehovah Witnesses?" No, Sir I am not." "Then what is your religion?" "I am a Seventh-day Adventist" "A what?" "A Seventh-day Adventist" "Huh, seems like I heard about Seventh day Adventists a few days ago." "Then sir, I think this would be excellent for you." "Do you keep the Saturday holy?" "Yes I do" "Did you know man changed the Sabbath to Sunday?" (He was the one that said that.) "Yes sir. Have you ever heard of Exodus 20?" "Yes I have. Read it many times." He said. "I think you should read it more thoroughly." "Well God made the old covenant (the old testament) to the Jews, we are in the new covenant. (new testament)" "Then why did God say in the Bible that He never changes.?"
He had nothing else to say. His wife patted him on the leg and told him to stop talking. My mom came up and was wondering why I was taking so long to pass the literature out. The pastor told her "Your daughter is well schooled."

I tell you my heart was beating, what seemed like very fast, when I was talking to that pastor. It was my first of many more to come Divine appointment's.

I ask you my friends to pray for everyone that gets a hold of the literature we are and will pass out. Also pray for my family and I, that we may have the right words to say to the people.
