An only child or a child full of joy 2.

I emptied the last box in my room, ran downstairs, opened the garage door and grabbed the leashes.
"Do you want to go for a walk, Daisy?"
"Ruuf!"
Outside is my favorite place, it's a place you can refresh your brain from all of the school studies, all of the worries of life, and learn lessons in nature. Here in this neighborhood, usually your peace is not for long outside. Of course, it depends what day and hour. There are some peaceful times though; that's the times you can find a girl walking two dogs, and usually singing a little tune. Today there's no peace, there are little children crying, screaming, laughing, running, biking and skate boarding. All under the age of thirteen, all doing what they wanted.

........
One afternoon, when all the children were getting off the bus, I went for a walk. I wanted to see what kind of children we had in our neighborhood, I wanted to meet someone. Well I did meet someone alright, a tall boy that had long hair and was skateboarding down the sidewalk. I moved over; and next thing I knew, he was directing his skate board towards me. By then Daisy was barking and growling fiercely at him (which she usually doesn't do to people).  An angry stream of words flew from is mouth, just as he flew past. Here, I stood on the sidewalk, in shock, fear and alone inside. Oh how I wished my brother was with me...
"But am I alone? No I know very well that I'm not alone...
my guarding angel is right here standing beside me."
As I went inside the house, I told my Dad of my situation with not finding any children in the neighborhood, at least that would want be friends.
"Do you think I'll ever be able to find any friends here?"
"Frankly you probably won't; and you probably don't want to.  These girls here are children that are not Christians; most of them are more interested in boyfriends."
"I guess I'll have to rely on OKFCM and GYC, to see friends."
And with a smile he said,
"Yup, you have your horses, dogs and cats to be your friends for now!"

I don't have to have friends in this neighborhood, because I have my Best Friend in Heaven, who is always with me.

All of my friends across the world, I've learned to cherish each moment, with each one of you. I can't see you everyday, because God has plans for me here, to be a child full of joy for Him.
Will you learn with me?
