The Narrow Way.

The path that leads to eternal life is narrow, is narrow, is narrow.

"Buuut, it's too narrow."

Not too narrow if you keep your eyes fixed on the Light. 

"This pathway is wider, easier terrain, a path that I can keep all of my possessions though!"

No my friend, you cannot keep your possessions. Look down farther, don't you see the danger? 

"But, the other path is hard, there is no place to rest, the people on the path have clothes that are worn and tattered."

But what do you see in their faces? Peace, joy, love and kindness. They are happy and content. Look down the path, the City of gold awaits. A King is on the throne. Lambs playing with lions and no more pain or tears. They will be resting shortly, forever. 

....

Sadly, I've found myself standing at the fork of the two paths many times. Sometimes even taking a few steps  on the broad path. Because self chose, because I looked down, because I lost sight of the cross. 

It's not too late to turn back. To gain sight of the cross, to take the key of promise. 

Sure, it looks wider on the other path, but does it fade out at the end into a bottomless pit?

We can be sure the narrow path with never fade away, solid ground all the way to the Holy City.

It's lack of faith, that causes us to question the narrow path. 

How do we build faith? 

Prayer, study and persistence. Daily.
