wondering on that path with the heavy burden.
The heavy burden of his sins.
To me it's a reality;
We carry a burden of sins,
but we don't have to choose it.
We can surrender it to Jesus.
When we're stuck in the slough of despond,
we can choose to ask for His helping hand.
We've been given a choice,
to choose right, or wrong.
When we fall into Satan's traps,
we can ask for the Key of Promise.
"Ask and it shall be given you..." Matthew 7:7
We have to ask; before it's given.
So many mistakes I've made,
so many trials surround me.
Have I put myself in Him stayed,
Or have I brought Him shame?
My eyes filled with tears,
pain was in my heart.
I tried to calm my fears,
but it was all in vain.
When I surrendered myself,
to my Father above,
sweet peace restored.
My fears no longer there.
,
I gave thanks to my Father,
I wept with joy.
For I’ve strong armor,
I've learned to put on,
to fight Satan’s evil ways.
