As my grandpa said goodbye to my brother he said,
"Son be careful, and drive safe. The Lord bless you".
Those were his last words.
Those were his last words.
He was tired and thin but he had a smile on his face.
I looked into the blue eyes of my grandpa for the last time; he closed his eyes once again. My mother nodded her head, and I knew he was gone. Gone forever? No. In that resurrection morning, we shall see him again.
He had been an influence to his three children and to his five grandchildren. He would always love to witness to people, to be an encouragement to his family, friends and everyone that he saw; even to the post office workers. He always had a sunny character that brighten peoples lives, even up to his last day.
We have to choose to keep on going; to carry on the work of sharing God's Word to the world.

On this earth there is birth and there is death. There is happiness and there is sadness. We have to choose to keep on going; to carry on the work of sharing God's Word to the world.

So sorry for your loss, Katherina. And yet loss is not really loss, because often "earthly loss, if we will know it, often means our heavenly gain." Praying for you!
