Thanksgiving and circumstances

*"In everything give thanks..."
"In everything?"
"It says "in everything give thanks", doesn't it?"
"Yes, it does."
Even in negative circumstances, every millisecond, every second and every minute etc... give thanks! And not just on thanksgiving, but everyday.

My list of thanksgiving has given to long-ways; it no longer can fit on a whole page. And I'm still learning, to give thanks.
Five things I'm thankful for:
The God who took me in. [Because I belong]
Family (furry part included ;))
Friends (and for their encouragement)
The Bible (and memorization)
And air to breathe. [Gratitude]

         ...
A four hour drive took us to the hospital where my Grandpa lay in bed 46E. He was happy to see us, and so was I to see him, my Grandma and my brother.
But tomorrow was Thanksgiving day; not a day to spend in a hospital  Most people would think of Thanksgiving as a time to eat, watch football, see relatives and friends, play games, etc.
It doesn't matter where; it matters who you are with.
An unexpected visitor (to some of us) came all the way from Tennessee, just to see us for Thanksgiving. It was such a blessing to be together as a whole family again.
And yes we did still had a wonderful time with friends, that invited us to their home.

The first walk we took with him.
With his IV still in.
